The majority of Marvel comics “All-New All-Different” titles have leaked online, via imgur, earlier today. I say “majority” because there are a few titles which were originally announced or currently ongoing which were absent from this list. Though this could be due to this new list only including the new branded #1, of which there are 45 titles. I’ve broken down these into categories for a better understanding of what’s to come.

A: Ariel Olivetti
“Sometimes a hero needs a little space…”
As previously mentioned, there are a total of nine spider related books which are slated to receive new #1’s under the All-New All-Different heading. There is no doubt that readers love their eight-legged inspired heroes (other than Carnage, he is a maniac). Here we see Amazing Spider-Man in a new glow-in-the-dark suit, and is that a updated Spidey-Mobile? It appears that Jessica Drew has been busy during the eight months between Secret Wars and when the first issue hits stands. There was a rumor that popular 80s Spaceknights were making their return post-Secret Wars, however I’m not sure I would have guessed that Venom would be headlining the team. Should be in for a lot of adventure this fall when these arach-noids hit stores.
Intergalactic
Guardians of the Galaxy #1
W: Brian Michael Bendis
A: Valerio Schiti
“The raccoon’s in charge.”
Star-Lord #1
W: Sam Humphries
CA: Dave Johnson
“Feels like the first time. Feels like the very first time.”
Drax #1
W: CM Punk with Cullen Bunn
CA: Ed McGuinness
“Best in the galaxy”
Nova #1
W: Sean Ryan
A: Cory Smith
CA: Humberto Ramos
“The family business…”
Captain Marvel #1
W: Tara Butters & Michele Fazekas
A: Kris Anka
“Captain Marvel rises.”
The Guardians tagline indicated that the team will be under the new leadership of Rocket. Groot is sporting a new outfit, and there are new additions with Thing and a female Star-Lord. I wonder where Gamora has gone, or is she the new Star-Lord. Absent from this list of #1 is the Gamora solo series which had been announced by Marvel back in November 2014. This book was originally salted for release in Spring and was going to be written by Nicole Perlman, co-writer of the Guardians of the Galaxy script. Perhaps Perlman’s schedule was too busy now that she is working on the Captian Marvel movie script. Though we still have Star-Lord and Drax solo series, it appears that Groot and Rocket have had theirs dropped.
X-Teams
All-New X-Men #1
W: Dennis Hopeless
A: Mark Bagley
“On a mission to make their own future”
Uncanny X-Men #1
W: Cullen Bunn
A: Greg Land
“Bigger threats require more threatening X-Men.”
Extraordinary X-Men #1
W: Jeff Lemire
A: Humberto Ramos
“Still hated. Still feared. Still standing.”
All-New Wolverine #1
W: Tom Taylor
A: David Lopez
“Best there is at what she does”
Old Man Logan #1
W: Jeff Lemire
A: Andrea Sorrentino
“Older. Wiser. Sharper.”
Deadpool #1
W: Gerry Duggan
A: Mike Hawthorne
CA: Tony Moore
“More Deadpool than you wanted”
With only six X-book titles, Marvel is definitely cutting back on its mutant representation. While the X-Men from the past go a road trip, looks like young Jean Grey has decided to join the “Extraordinary” team. The Uncanny team appears to just be the Brotherhood of Mutants, so I guess it is only a matter of time before somethings goes horribly wrong there. Only three solo series, two of which are Wolverines, the the other being Deadpool, so where have all the mutants gone?
Inhumans
Uncanny Inhumans #1
W: Charles Soule
A: Steve McNiven
“The silence is broken.”
Ms. Marvel #1
W: G. Willow Wilson
A: Takeshi Miyazawa & Adrian Alphona
CA: Takeshi Miyazawa
“CRUSHED IT.”
Karnak #1
W: Warren Ellis
A: Gerardo Zaffino
CA: David Aja
“The flaw in all things”
It shouldn’t come as much surprise that the Fantastic Four is no more. Johnny Storm has joined up with the Inhumans, and Thing is planet hopping with the Guardians. I could be looking into this too much, but I do not see Susan Storm or Reed Richards included in any of these teams. Furthermore, characters which seem to be playing a vital role in Secret Wars, mainly Doom and Valeria, also seem to be absent from this list.
Solo Series
Illuminati #1
W: Josh Williamson
A: Shawn Crystal
CA: Riley Rossmo
“Forever evil.”
Scarlet Witch #1
W: James Robinson
CA: Kevin Wada
“Seeing red…”

A: Ron Garney
“The devil’s apprentice”

W: Frank Barbiere
A: Brent Schoonover
“To fight the monsters of the world…We need the monsters of the night!”
Contest of Champions #1
W: Al Ewing
A: Paco Medina
“When heroes gather…”
Hawkeye #1
W: Jeff Lemire
A: Ramon Perez
“Hawkeye vs. Hawkeye”
Sam Wilson, Captain America #1
W: Nick Spencer
A: Daniel Acuña
“Who do you stand with?”
Vision #1
W: Tom King
A: Gabriel H. Walta
CA: Marcos Martin
“A bold new Vision for the Marvel Universe.”
The Mighty Thor #1
W: Jason Aaron
A: Russell Dauterman
“The flash may be weak but the thunder is strong.”
Doctor Strange #1
W: Jason Aaron
A: Chris Bachalo
“Some surgery requires a scalpel — some, an axe.”
The Totally Awesome Hulk #1
W: Greg Pak
A: Frank Cho
“Who is the Hulk?”
Invincible Iron Man #1
W: Brian Michael Bendis
A: David Marquez
“Upgrade.”
As mentioned, there are omissions from this line-up. As far as I can tell, all of the other characters announced a couple weeks ago in the teaser from Marvel, are included in some form within these titles, except for Red Wolf and Citizen V. Now this could be an oversight on my part, but based on the cover images alone it is still yet to be revealed where these two characters would fit in.
These only make up 45 All-New All Different titles, and which is short of the 55-60 titles originally rumored to be annouced. I would expect this is not every title Marvel has planned once Secret Wars concludes. Perhaps, there are additional announcements planned for San Diego Comic Convention next week.
Regardless of which books are listed here or not, there are a lot of great titles included, and although there may be characters from some of my favorite solo titles, there are more than enough new options to choose from.
From these books my top 5 anticipated titles are:
New Avengers – I loved Wiccan and Hulkling from the Keiron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie’s run on Young Avengers, so it is great to see them back as part of this Avengers team. Plus, this seems to be the only title with Squirrel Girl (really hoping the solo series isn’t done with).
Extraordinary X-Men – I’m a huge Jeff Lemire fan, so the fact that he is penning this, as well as Old Man Logan, is super exciting. This team is a great mix of classic X-Men characters from various timelines.
Karnak – When the “All-New All-Different” character image Marvel released at the beginning of June, I was most excited about Karnak getting more time in an Inhuman title, I didn’t even consider the he may even get his own solo series. Not only that, but a series being written by Warren Ellis, I’m feeling a little spoiled.
Howling Commandos of S.H.I.E.L.D. – This book stood out to me, it could be because it is a title I haven’t seen in a while. Then I see the team of Marvel’s monsters, lead by Dum Dum. Finally, I discover its being written by Frank Barbiere, of Five Ghosts, and I’m sold.
Doctor Strange – Stephan Strange has been a main supporting character in many titles over the last decade, and is finally getting his own spotlight. This will allow readers to become more familiar with this mystic hero before his movie hits theaters November 2016. Oh, did I mention it is going to written by Jason Aaron and Doctor Strange has a Labrys (double-sided axe).
