Album of The Week: Lex The Hex Master – The Black Season EP

by | Apr 8, 2016

Check out my album of the week right here (Lex The Hex Master – The Black Season EP) with a direct link to a Spotify playlist so your lazy asses can click right off them phones and start playing it right then and there. It’s the future!

The latest addition to Twiztid’s Majik Ninja Entertainment label, Lex The Hex Master has finally and officially released his ‘The Black Season’ EP to the masses. If you’ve been hitting up his live performances on the Canadian Juggalo Invasion Tour (yes I did – read about that HERE), then you already should own a copy. Lex The Hex Master is one of the most promising new hip hop talents of the year and his six-track EP is a kick to the head front to back, side to side, get the fuck up and get the fuck down debut like none I’ve heard in ages.

‘Raw Shit’ is so damn good while a track like ‘Ninjas’ is officially a new era Juggalo anthem. I saw Lex The Hex Master live before I heard the entire EP and it was his performance that really sold it for me, but I was not disappointed with the album – it holds up to the intensity of Lex’ live show. This is dark, wicked, evil and catchy hip hop. It went by too fast – I want more. I’m greedy and I can’t wait for the full length album from who is one of the deadliest newcomers to the underground rap scene.
