From director Zack Snyder (Watchmen) comes Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, the sequel to Man of Steel and based loosely on the classic Frank Miller series The Dark Knight Returns. The film will hit theatres March 25, 2016 and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot and Jessie Eisenberg.

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.  And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Speaking with The Robot’s Voice, actor Jason Momoa revealed that fans may see some glimpses of a more traditional Aquaman costume when he suits up in his upcoming solo film or maybe even in his cameo during the Batman V Superman movie next year. The promotional image doesn’t indicate a traditional costume but time will tell if Momoa’s Aquaman will more closely resemble the comic character or not.

“Well, there might be some bit of orange and green. A bit of respect to prior work, but I think he is meaner now and upset – look at what has been done to our oceans. That’s his world that has been polluted.” – Momoa
