In this live-action re-imagining of the fairy tale, a young woman (Emma Watson) takes her father’s place as prisoner in a beast’s castle, only to fall in love with her beastly captor (Dan Stevens), who turns out to be a prince.

Who hasn’t watched the original animated classic Beauty and The Beast? I’m a 31 year old dude which means I saw this thing in theatres when I was 6. It will always have a special place in my psyche – much like The Lion King has. The classic music is back, which means Alan Menken has returned, the stunning visuals, the fact that Dan Stevens (The Guest) is playing the big bad Beast…. (Who now that I think about it – looks sorta like Krampus…. creepy)…. I actually cannot wait to see this one in theaters. I skipped Cinderella, but I adored The Jungle Book this year and I’m very excited to check this one out. Plus – Gandalf is playing a grumpy talking clock. Sign us all up.
