The final schedule for Insane Clown Posse headlined Canadian Juggalo Weekend (April 7-8 in Calgary at the Stampede Corral) has been released by True Rhythm. Rounding out the earlier show time slots we have Juggalo Championship Wrestling, Circus performers, local acts and finally – FINALLY – DJ’s Clay & Carlito. Check it out right here.
On April 7th and 8th, The Insane Clown Posse will return to Calgary, Alberta Canada for the first ever Canadian Juggalo Weekend! Two days of concerts, wrestling, circus performances and more at the Stampede Corral, do not miss this must-see festival brought to us all by the magnificent True Rhythm production company who was responsible for getting the Psychopathic Records team into our country in 2016 after a decade-long absence.
We knew that DJ Clay and DJ Carlito from Psychopathic Records would be at Canadian Juggalo Weekend, but we now know that they’ll be doing changeover spots on both days from 5-5:30 PM right after Juggalo Championship Wrestling (also both days). Adding to the atmosphere of the traditional Gathering of The Juggalos, we also have actual circus performers kicking off each day from 3-3:30 PM. It doesn’t get any better than this for us Canadians who haven’t been able to travel to Insane Clown Posse’s annual Gathering.
Local acts Psych Ward Kidz, Doom Squad, Alberta Murderaz and Saintanik have also been added to the lineup which is a tremendous opportunity to showcase their talent on the biggest stage in Western Canada this year. So there you have it Juggalos and “fans of music” in general – this is the final lineup for Canadian Juggalo Weekend and it is stacked! Ice-T, Swollen Members, 2 Live Crew, Onyx, Kung Fu Vampire, Merkules, Big Hoodoo, Kissing Candice, Lyte, Blahzay Roze (yes – she is still going despite being cut from Psychopathic Records) and more… Did I mention Insane Clown Posse is headlining BOTH NIGHTS. Friday they are performing their classic album ‘Riddlebox’ in FULL, then Saturday to close out the festival, we get the hits. (check out this incredible trailer for the show below)
Even if you’re on the fence about ICP in general – you can’t miss this show if you dig hip hop… This is an incredible line-up which organisers True Rhythm have busted their asses on in order to deliver something truly special to the people of Canada. I’ve personally always wanted to attend a Gathering – couldn’t travel. But… now that show is coming to us – right here in Calgary, Alberta Canada. How sweet it is.
