Daredevil is a Netflix exclusive Marvel Studios TV series from showrunners Doug Petrie (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy). It stars Charlie Cox, Rosario Dawson, Jon Bernthal, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Scott Glenn, Elodie Yung and Deborah Ann Woll. Season 2 returns 2016.
Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
Scott Glenn portrayed the memorable Stick in the first season of Daredevil acting as a mentor to the young Matt Murdock, teaching him how to fight and utilize his senses after being blinded. The character of Stick was created by Frank Miller and it looks like he’ll be featured in three season two episodes where he’ll coerce Murdock into a mission that he wants no part of.
“After seeing Scott’s performance in the first season, we knew that we had to bring him back for more. He is an extraordinary actor and we leapt at the chance to expand on his adventures with Matt and Daredevil.” said Executive Producer/Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb.
“In some ways, Stick is to Marvel’s Daredevil what Scott Glenn has been to film and TV: a magnetic and awesome force to be reckoned with. It’s an honor to welcome him back, and the Daredevil team can’t wait to unleash Scott’s unique brand of bad-assery upon the world in season two.” said Executive Producer/Showrunner Marco Ramirez.
