Dr. Paul Kersey is an experienced trauma surgeon, a man who has spent his life saving the lives of people on the verge of death. But when his wife is killed and his daughter rendered comatose after a brutal home invasion, Kersey uses his unique skills to become the vigilante killer nicknamed “The Grim Reaper.”

You know. With the director/writer combo of Eli Roth and Joe Carnahan, I was pretty stoked to see what they could come up with on this Death Wish remake… I’m not so excited anymore – because the vibe of this trailer is: “Hell yeah I’m gonna kill badguys to ACDC’s ‘Back in Black’ for some reason and joke with my psychiatrist”…

Is it just me or should Death Wish be dark as hell? I like the cast and I even like Bruce Willis as the lead, sorta, but if this one bombs we’ll always have the underappreciated work of sadistic art that is Death Sentence, starring Kevin Bacon in he same inspired role… Now THAT was one helluva movie.
