Find Out Why Batman V Superman is Going to be Rated-R for The Ultimate Edition Blu-Ray

by | Feb 24, 2016

From director Zack Snyder (Watchmen) comes Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, the sequel to Man of Steel and based loosely on the classic Frank Miller series The Dark Knight Returns. The film will hit theatres March 25, 2016 and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot and Jessie Eisenberg.

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.  And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

According to FilmRatings, com the upcoming Blu-ray special extended director’s cut of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition will be rated-R due to “sequences of violence.” The theatrical release is still PG-13 however so Deadpool hasn’t completely rocked the boat on this one yet. But once more, fans can probably tip their hats to the merc with a mouth on this one.
