Wet Hot American Supper: First Day of Camp is an upcoming eight-episode prequel series to the cult classic 2001 film that will debut exclusively on Netflix July 17th. It stars Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, and Michael Showalter.
New castmembers include: Jon Hamm, Chris Pine, Jason Schwartzman, Kristen Wiig, John Slattery, Lake Bell, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, and Randall Park. The upcoming prequel mini-series is a prequel 14 years after the release of the film Wet Hot American Summer – and the cast is the largest assembling of A-Listers yet for an original Netflix release. David Wain directs each episode.
