Star Wars Battlefront Beta!
The highly anticipated EA Dice game will be getting a playable beta on PlayStation, Xbox One and PC This October. The beta will feature multiplayer Horde Mode Survival missions, a Walker Assault mission with Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader as playable heroes and the Drop Zone mode playable on Tatooine. The Battlefront companion app with also be available allowing players to view their stats and play a game called Base Command that unlocks in game items.
Uncharted 4 Release Date, Deluxe Editions and Pre Order Bonuses
If you’re like me then you have been dying to know how much longer you have to wait to play one of the PS4’s best looking games. Well you can start counting sleeps because the game is set to release on March 18. There will be 3 ways to purchase a physical copy of the game:
- Just the game $59.99
- Special Edition with Blu-ray, steel case, art book, sticker sheet and in game currency for use in multiplayer mode $79.99
- Libertalia Collectors Edition which includes all the stuff from special edition and a 12″ Nathan Drake statue, three outfits and two weapons for multiplayer mode and a hat and Madagascar sidekick outfit. $199.99
If you are more of a digital gamer then you have the option of getting a digital deluxe edition that will include the Triple Pack, which is basically a seasons pass that gives you single player story add-ons and multiplayer unlocks.
Anyone who pre-orders any version of the game will get a bonus pack of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune multiplayer customization’s and Naughty Dog points for use in multiplayer. Sony is also looking at doing retailer exclusive bonuses.
Apple Might Try To Take On Sony and Microsoft
Recently we found out that the next version of Apple TV is going to be able to download games directly to the platform and be playable using a pressure sensitive Bluetooth controller. It also seems that Apple is developing an Augmented Reality device similar to Microsoft’s upcoming Hololense.
Deadpool Comes To PS4 and Xbox One
Don’t get too excited tho… Activisions 2013 Deadpool game is getting a face lift and being ported to new consoles with an HD remaster. The game will be out later this year with a $50 price tag.
New Models Coming For Handheld Gamers
Sony has made an aqua blue and red version of the new slimmer PS Vita available for pre order at $199 and will be available November 6. Alternatively Nintendo is finally going to release the regular sized New 3DS in North America on September 20. If you are willing to wait a month longer you can get a Hyrule Edition.
Xbox One Elite Bundle
Microsoft has unveiled a new version of their latest console designed for gamers who want higher performance . It will feature a solid-state hybrid drive allowing games to load 20 percent faster and the new and exciting Elite Controller. The Matte black console will be available for $499 this November at GameStop and Microsoft stores with more retailers to follow after the first month.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Release Date and Interactive Pre Order
Square Enix has given us a February 23rd release date on the upcoming Deus Ex game, but whats more interesting is the way you can pre order it. Tiers will be unlocked as more people pre order the game starting with your choice from an Intruder, Enforcer or Classic pack that come with their own skins, accuracy and weapon upgrades. As more tiers unlock we will see things like story missions, a comic book, a soundtrack and in the last tier the game being released 4 days early.
Pokémon shuffle Now on Android and iOS
The free to play, highly addictive 3DS game has made the move to mobile devices and tablets. The game has over 150 Pokémon to collect in this match 3 style game along with being linked to Facebook for you to provide help to your friends. The game has been slightly reworked in the way that in game currency is used and is a bit easier to obtain. The game is available now on Android and iOS
Batman Arkham Knight PC Fix Is here
The PC version of the latest Arkham game so was broken that it was actually removed from sale and now a patch has been released that will hopefully fix all the issues.
