Game of Thrones is an adaptation of the epic dark fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire from writer George R.R. Martin. The series airs exclusively on HBO and stars Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey and Emilia Clarke.
It sounds like the upcoming sixth season of Game of Thrones will be revisiting the Greyjoy plot that was thought to be cut when last season only focused on the new Dornish characters. But do no fret — The Greyjoy storyline from the A Feast For Crows (aka Book 4) looks to be in the cards when the show returns in 2016.
Danish actor Pilou Asbæk is best known for his role as the advisor to the prime minister on the series Borgen. But he had a memorable supporting performance opposite Scarlett Johansson in Lucy and is tapped to play Pontius Pilate in the upcoming remake of Ben-Hur.
Fan favorite character Euron Greyjoy is the uncle to Theon and Yara. He’s a vicious, power hungry pirate and he seemingly has a large role to play in recent events if they follow the books so it’s nice to see his inclusion. There are actually two uncles in the novels, with Victarion being the other, however for the sake of time I believe they will be combining Victarion’s character/potentially plotline with Euron’s.
