Jeremiah Sand‘s long lost album featuring the single ‘Amulet of The Weeping Maze’ is a 1970’s classic that is a must-have for all Children of The New Dawn followers as well as fans who enjoy The Carpenters but long for something with more depth and guidance towards the light.
You don’t have to be an official member of The Children of The New Dawn to appreciate the Jethro Tull-esque Jeremiah Sand masterpiece ‘Amulet of The Weeping Maze’. The seven-plus minute opus that Sand himself has cited to be preferable to The Carpenters is a love letter to Sand himself, written by and sung by our new messiah – Jeremiah Sand. Hans Tueber’s flute is a welcome addition to the song and really adds that magical layer to Sand’s vocals, pushing the song into legendary territory, making me question everything about life in general.
Jeremiah Sand‘s album may only have one song, but there is a hidden spoken-word track titled ‘My Journey‘ which clocks in at over 16 minutes and details his painful upbringing and so very much more. You may find yourself getting uncomfortable while Sand details how his mother locked him in a closet at a young age, but it’s all integral to understanding the man’s journey to becoming the most important and underrated musician of all time. The Children of The New Dawn welcome you with open arms and through Sand’s message, we can all be so very special together.
