From Marvel Studios and showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker comes the new Netflix original series Luke Cage. The show stars Mike Colter in the title role with supporting cast-mates Mahershala Ali, Theo Rossi, Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Frank Whaley and Frankie Faison. It is set to premiere September 30th, 2016.

According to Collider – in a video interview Luke Cage himself, Mike Colter dropped the Netflix premiere date for the highly anticipated new series as September 30th. It was recently announced that Finn Jones will be playing Iron Fist as well and as comic fans know – those two are one of Marvel’s most famous crime fighting duos.
