Mandy is an upcoming film from RLJE Films directed by Panos Cosmatos and starring Nicolas Cage, Andrea Riseborough, Linus Roache, Ned Dennehy, Olwen Fouéré with Richard Brake and Bill Duke. Mandy hits theaters September 14, 2018!

I’ve been waiting for this movie all year long and the first trailer for Mandy does not disappoint. I’m unfamiliar with director Panos Cosmatos but I’ll be seeking out his work after today – you can bet your ass on that. We all know and love Nicolas Cage when he’s unleashed (see his other great movie this year Mom & Dad) but this film is next-level mayhem. If you’re unfamiliar with Linus Roache, who looks to be the main villain in Mandy, go out and watch the History series Vikings to see how damn fine of a performer he is. I’m actually just as excited to see what Roache does in this movie as I am with witnessing Cage go crazy.
This preview is even wilder than I anticipated too. We all expected a chainsaw fight, which we get a taste of here but I wasn’t prepared for that spikey-demon looking bastard nor was I ready for all the strange trippy semi-animated sequences either. This thing reminds me of Hobo with a Shotgun – straight up grindhouse indie acid-trip cinema. Bonus points on the death metal font used for the Mandy title logo too.
