From Netflix, Marvel Studios and showrunner Scott Buck (Dexter, Rome), comes Iron Fist. Finn Jones will star as the title hero in the upcoming original series, which has yet to set a release date — Luke Cage will debut first in 2016.
Finn Jones, best known for his supporting work on Game of Thrones has landed the leading role as Danny Rand in Marvel’s Iron Fist. The character, created by Roy Thomas, Gil Kane, and Bill Everett grows up in the immortal city of K’un-Lun, but returns to New York City to utilize his family’s wealth and become a vigilante kung-fu master known as Iron Fist. The character has been long affiliated with Luke Cage in the Marvel Comics for starting their Heroes for Hire business.
