Has anyone else noticed that there’s a Max Steel movie HITTING THEATERS in a couple weeks? It’s a full fledged theatrical release with a solid cast. I tried watching the cartoon with my kids and they lost interest, but it had a cool premise and I’m a fan of the Guyver, which is a similar B-Movie Power Rangers grindhouse-type romp, so this might be OK. The official poster was just revealed and it looks good, but what do you think? Is this going to be a massive splat on Rotten Tomatoes? Odds are yes – very yes. But it would be nice for them to prove us all wrong because the concept is fun and I like the cast. So let’s pray that our solid director and writer can pull this thing together.
