From Lionsgate and director Dean Israelite (Project Almanac), comes Power Rangers. The new big screen reboot of the popular kids show was penned by Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller (X-Men: First Class) and stars Dacre Montgomery (Red Ranger), RJ Cyler (Blue Ranger), Naomi Scott (Pink Ranger), Ludi Lin (Black Ranger), Becky G (Yellow Ranger), Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Banks. Power Rangers hits theatres March 24, 2017.
A group of ordinary high school kids find themselves infused with extraterrestrial powers and must harness those powers as a team to save the world.
Check out the new image courtesy of USA Today, which features a great up and close shot of the main cast. They used to wear helmets in the original series, but as previously revealed, these new suits are more alien-like so it makes sense that the faces can be shown while still being wrapped in the gear.
