New Rogue One Trailer Reveals Mads Mikkelsen’s Character, More Vader & Giant Fallen Jedi Statue?

From Disney and director Gareth Edwards, comes Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Taking place before the events in the original movie Episode IV, Rogue One stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Riz Ahmed. The film is scheduled for release December 16, 2016.

In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

The brand new story trailer (a day after that sweet classic new poster design was unveiled — see above) has been released for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It is easily the best one yet and I’m happy to finally get a glimpse of Mads Mikkelsen, who looks like he’ll be playing the father to Felicity Jones’s character Jyn Erso in a flashback as well as later on when we realize he’s building the damn death star.
