Nintendo will be releasing a mini replica of their classic NES system on November 11th, 2016. The NES Classic Edition is pre-loaded with 30 titles and will hook up to high-def televisions and feature enhanced visuals PLUS a save system which we never had before growing up in the 80’s. Get pumped.
The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition comes with one classic controller (you can get an additional one separately) and retails for 60$ US. The classic controllers can also be hooked up to Wii-U remotes and used to play virtual classic titles from the Wii U store – which is fantastic.
“We wanted to give fans of all ages the opportunity to revisit Nintendo’s original system and rediscover why they fell in love with Nintendo in the first place. The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition is ideal for anyone who remembers playing the NES, or who wants to pass on those nostalgic memories to the next generation of gamers,” said Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime.
