From Sony and Marvel Studios, comes the highly anticipated Spider-Man Homecoming. From director Jon Watts (Clown, Cop Car) and Vacation writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the film stars Tom Holland in the title role, Marisa Tomei and Zendaya. It is set for release July 7, 2017.
During CinemaCon, Tom Holland surprised the crowd to not only reveal the title for the upcoming new stand-alone Spider-Man film, but to show a logo as well. “It really is a homecoming,” Holland said, “because, throughout the movie, Peter is trying to find out who he is and where he belongs in this world.”
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige teased that various other characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be making appearances in the upcoming movie. In the meantime – catch Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War May 6th.
