Steppenwolf is Probably The Main Justice League Movie Villain

by | May 11, 2016

From director Zack Snyder (Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Watchmen) comes the highly anticipated Justice League: Part One film which will assemble DC Comics’ greatest heroes. Starring Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Gal Gadot (Wonderwoman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Amber Heard (Queen Mera), Willem Dafoe and JK Simmons (Commissioner Gordon), the film is scheduled for theatrical release November 10, 2017.

This deleted scene from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which was released by Warner Bros shortly after the theatrical release of the film, shows Lex Luthor and a villain which is “confirmed”, after months of speculation to now be Steppenwolf according to Birth.Movies.Death.

Major Spoiler Alert for Batman V Superman Ahead:

Watch the scene – go ahead. You can do it.

Now, Steppenwolf is the leader of Darkseid’s army, and according to Birth.Movies.Death, he has a “contentious history with Darkseid”. Also, it looks like during the final battle in the Justice League movie, the odds don’t look so hot for the heroes who have to “turn to a dead friend for help”.  So it sounds like Superman will indeed be dead for a while but returns to fight Steppenwolf and or Darkseid at some point in the film.

Also – if Snyder uses “Born to be Wild” at some point during the film soundtrack, I may have to give up on superhero films forever. Or maybe it’ll be so supremely genius that it’ll restore my faith in this stuff – but let’s get real…
