From Netflix, creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, comes the highly anticipated supernatural/coming-of-age mystery series Stranger Things. Starring Winona Ryder, Noah Schnapp, David Harbour, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, Millie Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Sean Astin, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Cara Buono, the series returns for season 2 October 27, 2017.
Stranger Things season 2 begins nearly a year after the first instalment, on Halloween in Hawkins, Indiana. Will has rejoined his pals after being rescued from an alternate dimension, the Upside Down. But all is not well with young Mr. Byers, as evidenced by the slug he coughed up in season 1’s final moments.
This full new trailer for Stranger Things season 2 may not have Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ ramping up the tension, but it was still loaded with a ton of amazing moments. Hell – I even loved that little nod to the online fanbase at the end when we see the return of that infamous baseball bat with nails in it. Eleven is back, bleeding nose and all, there’s a ton of apocalyptic imagery involving a gigantic creature in the sky, lot’s of screaming – you name it, Stranger Things season 2 has it and more. There is no other series this Fall that deserves to be binged like this one. Period. Enjoy.
