The Flash Season 3 Winter Finale Trailer & Images Feature The Return of Mark Hamill as The Trickster

From the CW Network, DC Comics and executive producer Greg Berlanti  (Arrow), The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Jesse L. Martin, Candice Patton, Keiynan Lonsdale, Rick Cosnett, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes and Tom Cavanagh. Season three is set for the mid-season winter finale on December 6, 2016.

Central City forensic investigator Barry Allen is, always charming and – as a result of a scientific experiment gone awry – now the fastest man alive! He’s The Flash, zigzagging through the action-packed new series from the creative team behind Arrow and based on the supersonic DC Comics character. Barry quickly discovers he’s not the only “metahuman” created by the explosive disaster – and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Now, to protect the innocent, Barry and his close friends who know his secret, race to combat evildoers in one astonishing adventure after another.


Following the massive ‘Invasion’ crossover event this week, comes the mid-season finale for The Flash next Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Guest stars include Mark Hamill as James Jesse (The Trickster) and John Wesley Shipp as Jay Garrick (The Flash) – both from Earth 3 (aka the original TV series universe or at least an homage to it). Season 3, Episode 8 ‘The Present’ Synopsis:

“With Alchemy and Savitar still looming threats, Barry is unable to focus on the Christmas holiday, and especially his relationship with Iris. Determined to stop Savitar, Barry goes to Earth-3 to get advice from Jay Garrick (guest star John Wesley Shipp). Wally wants to help Barry fight Savitar and reveals that he’s been training with H.R., which doesn’t go over well with Barry. As Cisco faces his first Christmas without his brother Dante (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez), old wounds are reopened.”
