The Hulk Was Originally in But Scrapped from Captain America: Civil War According to Mark Ruffalo

Captain America: Civil War is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and is set for release May 6, 2016 featuring a star studded cast headlined by Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson.

Fans who watched Avengers: Age of Ultron know that Bruce Banner/Hulk decided to quit the team and seemingly exile himself from causing any more harm. His current wherabouts are still unknown. Speaking with BadTaste.it. – actor Mark Ruffalo confirmed that Banner/Hulk was indeed supposed to be in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War film but that he was removed during the scripting process later on. Ruffalo explained why saying:

“The reason is too great to be revealed in this movie. “I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don’t want to reveal where is he and why. I don’t even know if Hulk will be back soon.”
