Someone leaked a trailer for Platinum Games upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game so naturally Activision released the official HD one a day ahead of schedule.
The game has been getting leaked in all kinds of ways for the last few months but nobody at Activision or Platinum were talking about it. Finally they decided to officially announce the game on January 26 with a bad ass new trailer but unfortunately for them, and very fortunately for us, someone went a head and did it for them.
Because the actual announcement wasn’t due until the 26th, no information has come from Activision or Platinum Games about Mutants In Manhattan but from the look of the trailer and Platinum Games’ history, I think we can all tell its going to be something worth keeping an eye on. Fox Force Five News will keep you updated as more information on the game unfolds.
Update:
Robert Cooper of Platinum games took to the PlayStation Blog today to tell us a little about the upcoming game. He stated that it will indeed be a co-op action adventure but more than just that, each players choice of turtle will make a difference.
“Leonardo’s katanas make him the most well rounded character, thanks to his medium-ranged reach and moderate attack speed. Raphael, on the other hand, is a little bit slower, but he’s a powerhouse. And even though Mikey’s nunchucks limit his strike zone, his attacks are the speediest of the bunch. And Donatello? His staff gives him the longest reach”
This is great news for the depth of the game and Platinum’s attention to detail. He went on to mention that the art took a lot of inspiration from popular TMNT artist, Mateus Santolouco right down to how the turtles move and fight. To read Roberts full blog post head over to the PlayStation Blog
Mutants in Manhattan will be available in summer 2016 for PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and One and also on PC.
