Wednesday is here again, which means a new week for new comics (CANTO & FAIRLADY). If you are like me, you may still have a stack of comics that haven’t been read from last week, but how can anyone fault us for reading. Here is a list of books I will be picking up at my local comic shop.

Like many readers I try to budget my purchases, which can become difficult when there are so many quality books being published each week. So here are 5 titles to consider picking up this week.

FAITHLESS #5 – $3.99

BOOM! Studios – Brian Azzarello, Maria Llovet, AndWorld Design, Paul Pope

At first, Faith had faced her trials naively, then willingly. Eagerly, even, becoming more and more corrupted over time. But something has woken her up to the truth… and to the darkness she’s found herself enveloped in.

FAIRLADY #5 – $3.99

Image Comics – Brian Schirmer, Claudia Balboni, Marissa Louise, Lesley Atlansky, Jeremy Saliba, David Bowman

Jenner is forced to team up with a Fairman in an attempt to save the life of a woman tied to a past investigation. No one likes loose ends, but some cases are never truly closed… Will this one be Jenner’s last?

last stop on the red line

After being saved from a near-death experience, Yusef proposes a partnership with Detective Torres to take down Boston’s otherworldly murderer. Once Detective Torres discovers a connection between a long-past murder and the recent homicides, Yusef’s abilities may provide the only gateway to uncovering the identity of the killer.

VAMPIRELLA #2 – $3.99

Dynamite Entertainment – Christopher Priest, Ergun Gunduz, Willie Schubert, Stanley Lau

Seduction of The Innocent Book Two of Twelve: Vampirella leads a team of religious zealots to take down a pack of werewolves preying on unsuspecting cultists. CANTO #3 – $3.99

IDW Publishing – David M. Booher, Drew Zucker, Vittorio Astone, Deron Bennett

Into the belly of the beast! Canto consults with the Hermit and learns the surprising truth about the slavers. Canto’s path is now laid out before him, but is he prepared to face a foe known only as the Shrouded Man?
