TOP 5 COMICS TO BUY – 11/29/17: REACTOR, DARK ARK, & ETERNITY

It is almost Wednesday, which means a new week for new comics. If you are like me, you may still have a stack of comics that haven’t been read from last week, but how can anyone fault us for reading. Here is a list of books I will be picking up at my local comic shop.

Like many readers I try to budget my purchases, which can become difficult when there are so many quality books being published each week. So here are 5 titles to consider picking up this week.

DARK ARK #3 – $3.99

Aftershock Comics – Cullen Bunn, Juan Doe, Ryane Hill

Something vile is lurking just beneath the surface of the fathomless floodwaters. As the rivalry between the various factions of monsters heats up on Shrae’s Ark, an evil from below rises to threaten every human life on board the vessel. From writer Cullen Bunn (X-Men Blue, Deadpool, Venom) and artist Juan Doe (AMERICAN MONSTER, WORLD READER) comes a sinister tale of biblical proportions that HAD to be told at AfterShock Comics.

Eternity #2 – $3.99

Valiant Entertainment – Matt Kindt, Trevor Hairsine, Tom Muller

Divine intervention!
Beyond the barriers of our reality… Outside the boundaries of human understanding… A universe of immensely powerful beings and advanced civilizations has evolved parallel to our own… But what links this strange plane of existence to ours, and what do its majestic inhabitants want with the child of Abram Adams – the denizen of Earth now called Divinity? To find out, Abram and his comrade, Myshka, must enter Eternity’s infinite realm…and encounter the Unknown itself!

MOON KNIGHT #189 – $3.99

REACTOR #1 – $3.99

Vault Comics – Donny Cates, Dylan Burnett, Dee Cunniffe, Taylor Esposito
There’s Weep, your average machine-gun-wielding teenager raised on an Earth overrun with vampires. There’s Poli, who landed on Earth with the mission to kill every damn vampire there. And then there’s King Luc’s heavily fortified blood farm. You do the math. From Donny Cates (God CountryRedneck) and Dylan Burnett (Weavers) comes Reactor, a whole new entry into the world of vampire warfare, overpowered mechsuits, and 10-year-old presidents that Interceptor kicked-off.
