According to Comingsoon.net – it looks like we have found our new Superman in actor Tyler Hoechlin, who recently starred in the Richard Linklater comedy Everybody Wants Some! We knew ahead of time that Superman would finally be showing his face in the second season of Supergirl but now we know he will be doing so in the first two episodes of season 2.

“Greg (Berlanti) and I have wanted to work with Tyler for ages, so this worked out perfectly because Tyler is Superman. We are so thrilled and humbled to add another amazing actor to the legacy of this iconic character.” said Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg.
