Mini-NES Classic Console Hits Stores November with 30 Games & is HDMI Ready

Nintendo, which is king of the world once more after launching Pokemon Go!, announced today that they will be releasing a mini replica of their classic NES system on November 11th, 2016.

The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition comes with one classic controller (you can get an additional one separately) and retails for 60$ US. The classic controllers can also be hooked up to Wii-U remotes and used to play virtual classic titles from the Wii U store – which is fantastic.

“We wanted to give fans of all ages the opportunity to revisit Nintendo’s original system and rediscover why they fell in love with Nintendo in the first place. The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition is ideal for anyone who remembers playing the NES, or who wants to pass on those nostalgic memories to the next generation of gamers,” said Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime.

In case you were worried about a classic Nintendo being playable on your fancy ass new High-Def TV’s – this version comes with an HDMI cable and will absolutely hook up to your new system. It also comes pre-loaded with 30 built-in classic titles featuring all the hits:
